Chinese
experts on Sunday warned computer users to guard against
computer viruses between Feb 27 to March 5.
A virus, known as "Worm_Gift.B" will spread
chiefly through e-mails or on-line chat systems, according
to China’s National Computer Virus Emergency Response
Center. Some variants of Worm Mytob are also slated for
attacks in targeted user groups.
“Attacks with worms carrying specific dates or
weeks of destruction are increasing rapidly. We have
seen that happening in the Sober series and more recently
in the Kamasutra worm. To defeat threats like these,
it’s important to keep the anti-virus software
