1.Click on Start, then on Programs eScan for Windows eScan Registration.
Enter the 30-character License key which you would have received on purchasing the eScan software and then click Apply

If you have put a valid key, you will get the following screen with the message that your license key has been updated.

2.Confirm this message to continue by clicking Ok. Then the following window would display the license status and size.

On clicking OK in the above screen, the following License Information window would be displayed.

3. Here, your license key and the registration status are displayed. Now right click on the 30-character License key displayed in the column Standard Key. Then, the following screen would appear

4. Here, click on the option Register License Key, which has just appeared in the pull-down menu. Then the following screen would appear

This window would also appear, if you click on the Register License Key button after enabling it by clicking on the 30-character License Key in the column Standard Key in the License Information Window.

5. Here check the radio button Register License Key and then click on Register. Then the following screen would appear

6. In the above Registration Wizard, fill in all the details as asked and click on Next to proceed. Then the following screen would appear

Here, you would get 3 different options to register eScan - Online, Fax and Email.

6a. When you select the Online option [ensure the system is connected to the Internet], then you would get the following screen

Click on Next, then a new 60-Character Activation Code would automatically get added in the License Information window which would activate your eScan license showing it in the following screen

Here, you see now that your eScan is registered and the valid contract period is also shown.

6b. If you select the Fax option in the following screen,

and click on Next, here a text file with the name FaxRegister.txt would automatically get generated, take a printout of the following text file and fax it to us at +91-22-28304750.

This will enable us to send you the new 60-Character activation code to activate your eScan license.

6c. If you select the "Email" option in the following screen and click on Next

then a new email of following sort would automatically get composed having all the details provided by you in the Registration Wizard, the email address to send the details to is register@mwti.net,

This email once received would help us in giving you the new 60-Character Activation Code to activate eScan license.

7. Once you receive the Activation Code as a reply to your fax/e-mail, click on Start, then on Programs eScan for Windows eScan Registration.

Then the following License Information window would be displayed:

Here, right click on the 30-character License key displayed under the Standard Key tab. Then, the following screen would appear

Here, click on the option Register License Key, which has just appeared in the pull-down menu. Then the following screen would appear

Here, check the radio button I have Activation code and enter the 60-Character Activation Code in the above screen and click OK

Then you will get the following screen

Here you see that your eScan is registered and the activation code along with the valid contract period is also shown.

8. On renewing your eScan-product, you will be sent a new license key. Either for registering this new key or when you by mistake enter the old license key for registering the new license key, you need to carry out the following procedure for Add Standard Key:

Click on Start, then on Programs eScan for Windows eScan Registration. Then the following window would be shown

Now right click on the 30-character License key displayed under the Standard Key tab. If you right click, then, the following screen would appear

Here, click on the option Register License Key, which has just appeared in the pull-down menu. Then the following screen would appear

On clicking OK, following screen would appear

On clicking OK, following screen would appear

Now you need to register your license key before the date given under the Registration status. For registering this new license key, you need to follow the same procedure, described above in Points 3-7.
